LIVE Session: July 14, 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Course Description: This professional development session explores the impact of poverty and homelessness on the students we serve. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these experiences affect learning, behavior, and engagement in school. The session will also highlight research-based strategies educators can use to create supportive, responsive classroom environments that meet the needs of at-risk learners and remove barriers to success.

Learning Hours: Members who complete this course receive 1.5 hours  of Act 48 and/or a certificate that may apply for Chapter 14 hours. Your employer has sole discretion to determine if this course qualifies for Chapter 14 hours.
