LIVE Session: June 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Course Description: This session equips educators and support professionals with a better understanding of the evolving role of social media in students’ lives. Participants will explore both the positive and negative effects of social media on youth mental health, academic performance, and future aspirations. The session will examine how online platforms influence self-esteem, attention, peer relationships, and emotional well-being. Interactive discussions will focus on digital role modeling, current social media trends, and how to encourage healthy, balanced online habits in and out of the classroom.

Learning Hours: Members who complete this course receive 1.5 hours of Act 48 and/or a certificate that may apply for Chapter 14 hours. Your employer has sole discretion to determine if this course qualifies for Chapter 14 hours.
