Summer 2026
Course Description:
The 2026-27 school year brings new Personal Finance academic standards and a Personal Financial Literacy course requirement for all high school students. Join fellow PSEA members as you read and engage with your choice of picture books related to four (4) themes aligned with the new standards: Personal finance fundamentals; income & earning; saving, investing & spending; and risk, insurance, & credit. Teachers and school librarians will benefit from this exploration and discussion of how personal finance picture books can be used with students across all grade levels as introductions and prompts for rich discussions about real-world financial literacy.
Learning Hours: Those who read one of the book
