Course Description: This book challenges traditional approaches to school discipline by reframing challenging behavior as the result of unmet needs and lagging skills rather than willful defiance. In this book discussion, educators will explore Greene’s Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model and learn practical, relationship-based strategies for reducing challenging behaviors, improving communication, and partnering with students and families to create more supportive and successful learning environments. Learning Hours: 10 hours to read, 1 hour for online reflections, and 1 hour for participation in the live discussion for a total of 12 Act 48 hours or a certificate of completion.
