Author Liza Mundy shares this nonfiction work after extensive research into the women the US Army and Navy recruited. Learn how women from across the country supported the United States through amazing codebreaking skills. As we continue to develop student interest in STEM, join us for this interesting read that shares scientific accomplishments and history in an engaging book for mid-level grades that will inspire students. This book is written at 1050 Lexiles. The target audience is 8-12 years and grades 3-7. Time: 6 hours to read, 1 hour for the discussion guide, and 1 hour for participation in the discussion session for a total of 8 hours of Act 48 or a certificate of completion.
